Each listing on the SERP has three core components, which include the page title, page description, and page URL. Sometimes the best way to get links is not to ask for them. That doesn't mean you should sit back, do nothing and wait for links to appear. Spend time creating content and making your site as attractive and easy to link to as possible. Coming up with great content is important to the longevity of any website, but finding the right “hot” keywords to use and implementing them in ways which look natural and read in a fluid fashion is just as important as coming up with a good article, blog post, recipe or other bit of information. Performing regular audits on your website’s links is a good way to detect suspicious, potential negative SEO activity. Regularly monitoring of your link profile can also help you catch a possible attack early and prevent it from spiraling out of control.

Caption everything

You should search your favourite search engines for search terms such as: “add url”, “suggest website” and add your website to these sites. All of this constitutes to link building for your website. Be Yourself. Write about what you know and make it a conversation with your readers. Keep it natural. People will find your content because they speak the same language and seek your advice. The primary goals of most SEO practitioners are to increase rank in the SERP and drive traffic, but they are not going far enough. Another “old school” method of building up your backlinks is to make use of Forum Posting. It is a quick, easy and sometimes even fun way to get your links out and maybe even have someone directly click on them which is always a good thing.

Generate keyword ideas

Analysis of meta sets/keywords, visible text and code to determine how well you're positioned for search engines. Use keywords relevant to your products and services that your customers are searching for, especially in your Title Tags and internal links. According to research by Google, smartphone users have a higher buyer intent than desktop users. They’re focused and ready to buy. It’s your job to be there when they are looking for your products. A search page provides you with more than one opportunity to put your name in front of the user. You should take advantage of this if you can.

Backlinks that go deeper

The quality of the content is vastly important to SEO. How well-written is it? Is it riddled with spelling and grammatical errors or is it error-free? Keyword research is the basis of all search marketing. It is the art of explaining what you do in the language that people use, and thus it should probably be the basis of all your marketing activities, both on and off the web. Link building refers to building credibility on your website by having your links appear on other web pages. What SEO specialists and strategists should be doing, instead of link building, is establishing relationships with local influencers and businesses. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant : "Permalinks are the permanent URLs for your web pages, posts, categories and tag archives. It is the web address used to link to your individual blog post and web page. By default, permalinks look something like this: https://yoursite.com/p?=17 This structure makes it difficult for search engine crawlers to read and index your web pages and posts. That means you will need to make it more accessible for both search engines and we visitors."

Authority metrics are only barometers

Search engine do not give you links that are counted to your link popularity. You need to write content that others want to link to. And in my opinion, if you are not passionate about what you are writing, then it will be hard to get links pointing to your content. How SEO works for a big brand with an established reputation and a massive marketing team, PR agency and all of that stuff is very different to how SEO works for some local tradesmen with a low-end budget that has to catch up with the big boys. Writing a good title tag should read more like a newspaper headline than a bunch or keywords, so keep it descriptive, but of course, still with keywords included. There are many different opinions on the ideal length of the title tag, but most agree that 110 characters should be the minimum. Use a directory structure that organizes your content well and makes it easy for visitors to know where they're at on your site. Try using your directory structure to indicate the type of content found at that URL.
