Avoid thin, insubstantial content, duplicate content and of course spammy-looking keyword stuffing techniques. f you are familiar with Google’s algorithm, you are aware that it is predicated based off of backlinks. This is simply a hyperlink on an external website that links back to your website.
First, your content needs to be on the first page
Permalinks are the permanent URLs for your web pages, posts, categories and tag archives. It is the web address used to link to your individual blog post and web page. By default, permalinks look something like this: https://yoursite.com/p?=17 This structure makes it difficult for search engine crawlers to read and index your web pages and posts. That means you will need to make it more accessible for both search engines and we visitors. SEO takes promotion. Backlinks
are a huge part of ranking in Google and in order to attract backlinks (and even social shares) your content needs to be seen . Without shares, backlinks, authority, Google won’t notice your page and you won’t rank. SEO is marketing. It’s important that it be presented and treated as such, no matter how important a technical foundation is to the discipline. Another major change in recent SEO is Google’s Knowledge Graph, which first emerged around 2012 – this has increased the focus on Schema.org microformatting making content more simply deliverable.

building is RELEVANCY. Therefore building links in niche directories and directories attached to informative websites relevant to your industry are beneficial for you. If you execute your keyword research properly, you’ll end up with a long list of search terms you want to be found for. Make sure to search for those terms in Google yourself. What results are there already? Who will be your online competitors for these search terms? What can you do to stand out from these results? Imagine the billions of webpages to be searched when a keyword is typed into the searchbox and the answer comes on your screen within a matter of minutes?
Quality over Quantity
Social signals may not play a direct role in ranking your site. But social shares generate more eyeballs on your content. And the more eyeballs you get, the more likely someone is to link to you. People like to be engaged and feel involved. Having a question as a title will start a conversation by piquing people’s interests. They will want to know what the answer is. Doing research on your targeted audience will help you come up with questions to ask. (Ideally, they should be questions members of your audience would naturally ask.) Only link to pages on other websites that you think your visitors would find helpful, valuable and/or interesting. Most people simply ignore this part as not important – please don’t do the same. Remember the following two sayings: “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are” and “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant

Distribute your content effectively
Change the titles on your least successful pages twice a year. Why? Because obviously those titles weren’t helping your least successful pages. Content marketing is now
part of a successful SEO strategy. Google has refined what it considers good content in recent years. It it now almost impossible to get away with any gimmicky content-based tactics, such as high quantity content without quality and substance. Search engines prefer those who produced the best, most valuable content, spawning the adoption of content marketing among SEOs — and content is still king today. Keyword research is the basis of all search marketing. It is the art of explaining what you do in the language that people use, and thus it should probably be the basis of all your marketing activities, both on and off the web. Search engines optimize their results pages — especially their mobile search results pages — to display businesses that are located near the searcher. This is a good thing for local businesses because local online searches lead to visitors and purchases.
