Domain authority is more insightful than PageRank because it’s measured on a scale of 0-100, but it’s not perfect. SEO is all about ranking high on search indexes, which can’t happen without you creating new, quality content. As you create new pages, you create opportunities for new rankings and more reach. This, in turn, leads to more keywords you can rank for. Remember, though, that quantity should never trump quality. Better content gets you better rankings. If you create high-quality pieces of informative content on your website page-to-page, you will rank. In organic search, you don’t have
to continually pay to be seen,
and once you’ve reached the first
page of Google (and you have
quality content and a trustworthy
site), you’ll often stick there for a
long period of time (depending on
the amount of competition).
Create an e-book or guide every few months
Find a bad hosting provider, install WordPress on a crappy shared hosting program, activate thirty plugins and upload a hundred non-optimized images to your blog and you are well on your way to a bad score. The small businesses with
a physical place of business would do well to invest in local SEO, online public relations and branding, optimizing for mobile and experimenting with Google AdWords. If you want to use your SEO campaign to truly and accurately speak to your audience and potential buyers, think about what gaps you can fill that competitors don’t. SEO doesn’t have to be hard or require an expert team to get results. If you’ve got a process and a structure, you can rank your content in search engines quite quickly.
Exposure is the name of the game when creating a blog
If you want people to hang around your site, or make the purchases, your site should load in lightning speed, otherwise the users will not even give a second thought in jumping on to your competitor’s website. The header text, or
H1 text, is usually the title of an article or some larger
bold text at the top of your page. Google and the smaller search engines can
see this and they put extra importance on the words in the H1 text. Make sure
your target keyword or phrase is there. Google has stated on the record that page loading speed is an SEO ranking signal. You can boost your site speed by using a CDN, compressing images, and switching to faster hosting. To achieve long-term SEO results, you must have a strong web foundation built on targeting terms related to your business, industry, and offerings. If you don’t target and rank for the right terms, your audience won’t be able to find you. So one of the most important SEO tactics is keyword research.
Comment links for SEO
There's nothing like marketing in the minute. Duplicate content is content that appears in more than one place online. When there are multiple pieces of identical content, it's difficult for search engines to decide which version is more relevant to a given search query. Long-form content is a magnet for long tail searches. The more searchers and visitors you attract, the more you can ‘satisfy’ and the better chance you can rank higher in the long run. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant
: "Search engines audiences are “in demand” mode and already tell you what they are looking for. This makes them a fantastic pre-qualified market to tap into. If you wish to drive revenue from new business and but find other lead generation tactics ineffective, this is a key platform to consider."
Review your website’s design
To maintain a healthy website, do an overall audit of your underperforming blog content or articles to determine what to keep, what to make more robust, and what to remove. As long as you’re
playing by the rules, there’s no significant danger that you'll earn a penalty or damage your reputation in the process. You should also monitor trends to see what popular long tail keywords people are searching for and make sure you monitor social media as well. There are numerous ways to monitor trends you can use Google’s own Trends search tool, YouTube’s keyword search tool and there’s many more methods you can use as well. You need images not only to improve a user’s experience on your website but also because they have a positive impact on your SEO. It’s not enough to simply have images on a website, though. To help with your Google search ranking, come up with creative file names and alt tags which describe what the image is.
