Use your website to communicate your value proposition and your general marketing messages (known as “high-level messages”). If there is one page which should be optimized for generic keywords, it is your homepage. The higher quality your content, the more beneficial your shared information, and the better your reputation increases the chances that you will be mentioned throughout a variety of platforms. Off-page SEO factors are as important as on-page SEO factors. To have a successful SEO optimisation, both should be done. Earlier it was still easy to rank by building spammy links but, after the penguin and panda updates, its much difficult. Great content never sleeps, never needs a lunch break and is adored by search engines and customers alike.

Try, test, repeat

In the world of SEO, there is speculation that Google’s indexer will only give a certain document credit for having a given word in its title if that word appears in the first 12 words of the title tag. Google prefers fresh content. An older page that’s regularly updated may outperform a newer page. Search drives the web -- roughly two-thirds of website visitors originate from organic search. Don't limit your ideas; brainstorm whatever subjects and phrases could lead the kinds of visitors you want to your site. Type them into a spreadsheet. Your brainstorming will "prime the keyword pump."

Remove unnecessary outbound links

Timely topics are seasonal (like holiday recipes) or more focused on current events or news coverage. Timely topics have a much shorter lifespan, but can drive large bursts of traffic if done well. Duplicate content isn’t necessarily a bad or wrong thing, apart from in the above example where it’s just straight up theft. The only thing you can do off site to incraese your rankings is build up more links. More links will generally lead to better Google PageRank and better search engine rankings. Many people fixate on "on-page SEO" in their marketing efforts. They make sure their keywords are jammed in the copy and the internal links and silos are set up correctly. For a typical WordPress site this might take an hour or two to knock out the easy stuff.

What are sitelinks?

Each time you write an informative article related to your site’s topic, you should distribute it to a number of article directories. When you do that, you are making sure that more people will be visiting your site. Ensure the number of new site visitors arriving via organic search is growing, month to month and year over year. Make sure that every page has one call-to-action, so the goal of the page is clear. If you add multiple buttons, you lose the focus of the page and your visitors won’t get where you want them to go. We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "In establishing domain names, you may come across articles, which may suggest not to make use of hyphens on them. You should become aware though that using hyphens on your domain name is not a bad practice. However, you should know that most people these days, are not used to typing domain names on their browsers that come with hyphens."

Use Heading Tags (H Tags) To Get More Traffic

Invest time and efforts into guest blogging as well while maintaining an active blog on your site. Choose relevant, popular websites for your guest posts and embed intelligent links in your article. Initially, add one backlink per post that adds value to the content and is pertinent to the underlying theme. However, once you have developed a rapport with the host website, they might be willing to include more than one link per post. Think of the last time you wanted to purchase a product but knew next to nothing about it. What did you do? You likely used a search engine to look for online reviews or articles about the product. If the most helpful article was on a site that also sold the product, odds are that you purchased at that site. Gut, brain, intuition, emotional intelligence, whatever you want to call it, humans can’t be beat for determining relevance. When it comes to choosing keywords, it’s important that they are not too specific or too broad.
