SEO’s need to have the skill and experience to help the client develop a social media strategy, deliver training and support, create policies and processes and ensure their clients up-skill accordingly so that social media contributes to the wider commercial objectives of the client not just the SEO objectives of the agency. Keyword density is no longer important and you should stop any and all strategies aiming at stuffing keywords into your content. Not so long ago, SEO and social media marketing were different things. The idea was that SEO attracted visitors and social media marketing kept them coming back. If you execute your keyword research properly, you’ll end up with a long list of search terms you want to be found for. Make sure to search for those terms in Google yourself. What results are there already? Who will be your online competitors for these search terms? What can you do to stand out from these results?
Create an Engaging Web Presence
Just like writing any great content, you need to know your targeted audience pretty well in order to be successful. These are the people you know will be most interested in your service or product and will most likely convert into sales. If you can’t budget
for 6 to 12 months of SEO, you might be better off putting that budget somewhere else. Basically, if search engines don’t understand your pages, those pages will fall out of the index and drop all of their traffic. As touched upon before - backlinks are simply links from other websites directing viewers to your site. Search engines love these.

rule the SEO world – nobody will read your stuff if it’s not helpful to them. Building an email list is important for most businesses. Email allows you to reach your customers directly, immediately, and for free. Google wants to see that you have a legitimate site with legitimate traffic. This means your content needs to be stellar.

Google prefers fresh content. An older page that’s regularly updated may outperform a newer page. People don’t read on the web; they scan. To make scanning easier, use plenty of clear and informative sub-headers to guide readers down a page. Keyword page density is a measure of the relative frequency of the word in the text expressed as a percentage. For example, if a specific word is used 5 times on a page containing 100 words, the keyword density is 5%. If the density of a keyword is too low, the search engine will not pay much attention to it. Why should you invest time, effort, and resources on SEO?
SEO doesn’t have to be hard or require an expert team to get results. If you’ve got a process and a structure, you can rank your content in search engines quite quickly. It is useful to
come up with a link building strategy that will help other sources discover your content and feature it if they find it relevant enough for their target audience – without losing sight of the need to create valuable content, of course. In general, though, focus on relevance above all else. It’s tempting to just shoot for the big, authoritative opportunities, but by doing so you run into a few issues. Make sure the site makes good use of anchor text in its internal links. This is a free opportunity to inform users and search engines what the various pages of your site are about. Don’t abuse it, though.
